How the two series are built
Signature Series
Premium semi-custom. Full-extension slides, soft-close throughout, hand-finished colour, and a specification we set rather than accept.
Essentials Series
Plywood-box construction, soft-close standard, faster lead times. The same floor, the same crew, a shorter specification.
What we make, and what we buy
Not every part of every kitchen is made on our floor. Hinges, slides, stone and some door programs are bought in. We are documenting which collections are built here and which are sourced, and the spec block on each collection page will say which — before you buy, not after.
Until that routing is documented, no page on this site claims a particular collection is made in our plant. A company that will not tell you what it buys in is telling you something.
Delivery across New England
Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. Delivery only on our own trucks, with a $200 minimum in materials. Outside Massachusetts, delivery is to the customer’s residence only.
The delivery fee is shown at checkout. Delivery timing is confirmed for your products and quantities. We do not offer installation.

We wanted a unique modern design and we were so fortunate to find Quality Design Cabinet. From the beginning of the project to the end has been a pleasurable experience. Our initial meeting with Marta was wonderful. She understood my vision and the design team executed a rendering that was exactly what we wanted. After another meeting where we finalized countertops, sink, cabinet handles, specific drawers, a final measurement was taken and the order was placed. Installation day went perfectly. The cabinet installers were friendly, professional and experts at what they do. The following week the countertops were installed by experienced craftsmen. We highly recommend Marta and Wilton at Quality Design Cabinet. They are worthy of a 5 Star Plus rating.

We are very detail oriented and always look for the best. We did an extensive search for the right design and construction company to do our remodeling (new kitchen, master bath, walk-in closet, as well as re-doing the family bathroom). A company that is experienced, up to date with the latest trends, reasonable, and most importantly trustworthy. We were so fortunate to select W R Construction and Design and Quality Design Cabinets, which are both owned by the same owners. Our project started about six weeks ago, and so far, my wife and I cannot say enough about how great our experience has been. Wilton and his wife Marta have been such a joy to work with, always honestly guiding us with our interest in mind and not theirs. Wilton and Marta visited our house and met with us several times to make sure we had the right plan and design in place. Since the project started, Wilton has visited our house every day to make sure things are going well, according to the plan and to address any issues. Their crew have been professional, efficient and courteous. The kitchen and walking closet cabinet have been installed and are exactly what we were looking for, strong built and modern. The project is ahead of schedule, which we really appreciate.

We have tried calling and texting numerous times in the last 2 months and have only been able to speak to someone once. Their direct phone line goes straight to voicemail. When we did get in touch with someone it took several reminders to get a first quote and layout and we have not been able to reach anyone to continue the process. We also came into the showroom on a Friday, picked out a cabinet color and countertop options for quotes and never received anything back from the associate who helped us.

Quality Design Cabinet was incorporated on 4 March 2020 and has been Wilton Ribeiro's company since. He has been in cabinetry for more than forty years — building it, fitting it, and learning what a kitchen costs from both sides of the invoice. Those years are his, not the company's, and we are careful about the difference. The company holds Massachusetts Board of Building Regulations and Standards licence #184965. The 'more than 400 kitchens' figure that appears in some draft copy is not confirmed in our data and should not be quoted to you as fact until it is.

All three languages carry the same answers — this knowledge base is written in all three rather than machine-translated from English, so nothing is lost in the version you read. Say which language you want when you first make contact and you are put with someone who works in it, not with an interpreter.

The one-star is printed on this site with our reply underneath, deliberately: a 5.0 raises exactly one objection, which is that it looks bought, and the honest answer to that is the complaint itself rather than a disclaimer. The words customers use most are quality, design and custom, in that order; the word warranty appears zero times in all 84, which is why we raise warranty ourselves instead of waiting to be asked.
It is family-owned and operated, and the people who run it are the people you meet in the showroom. In the public Google reviews customers name Wilton and Marta as the couple running the business; one reviewer describes the owner visiting the house every day of the build to check the plan was being followed. Wilton handles the design conversation himself. That is a customer's account rather than a company statement. Quality Design Cabinet sells cabinetry through its Cranston, RI and Fall River, MA showrooms and online. We publish product prices and confirm availability, delivery and the final amount for each order. Installation is not offered.
On the modular lane, the configurator does — and you do. You give it the walls and the appliances, it packs the run out of stock sizes and shows you the layout, the box list and the price. It is not a designer and does not pretend to be: it will not tell you the wall is out of plumb or that your range handle eats a clearance. What it will do is close every run exactly and refuse to price anything that does not fit the grid. On the made-to-measure lane you send the drawing and a person prices it.
